As you probably know Copenhagen is one of our favourite cities and we have visited this city each year now for the last couple of years. Always for the nicest meetings, getting to know more about our favourite brands, meeting new people or friends we made throughout these years.

When we visit the city most of the times we are blessed to stay in the greatest hotels and eat at the nicest restaurants. For those who are looking for these special places we have made a list of our favorite places to go.

The last time we went to Copenhagen during 3 Days of Design we had dinner at Spuntino, an Italian restaurant and part of Cofoco.

If you are looking for a great restaurant in Copenhagen you really should visit the Cofoco site. Since the opening of their first restaurant in 2004 Cofoco has been a driving force within the Copenhagen food scene. A great meal is at the heart of their restaurants and a part of this is the people welcoming you, the décor, the table setting and, of course, the atmosphere.

At Spuntino you can enjoy a great and simple Italian menu. Spuntino is like gathering the family or a group of great friends at a table in an Italian backyard on a warm summer evening. Underneath the greenery and beautiful lights, you are served plenty of organic and local produce, prepared the classic Italian way and served family-style on platters. Feast on vegetables from near-by Birkemosegård and legendary Søren Wiuff, air-dried ham from a small town outside Parma, or their own freshly made linguine, and organic beef from Varde Ådal. Simple, cosy, and informal.

When strolling the city and in need for a break and some great coffee pay a visit to the CUB coffee bar. CUB stand for Copenhagen Underground Brewers,
a team of passionate coffee professionals with an aim to offer exceptional coffee experiences in friendly and cosy surroundings.

The coffee bar is located across from the Parliament in the basement of one of Copenhagen’s beautiful 18th century buildings. Look for the wooden CUB-sign on the cobbled street, just next to Ved Stranden 10.

Besides coffee and tea they also offer a small range of breakfast servings and pastries.

During our latest stay we had the pleasure to stay at the Central Hotel & Cafe. This hotel is the smallest hotel in the world with only one room. Just around the corner there is Granola, where we had some great breakfast and a late night drink. A great place for breakfast, dinner or a break during the day.

For the first time since all our visits in Copenhagen we rented a bike to explore the city. We had the most amazing weather and riding through the city by bike was so easy and fun and allowed us to even see more and be flexible in where we wanted to go.

We rented our bike through Donkey Republic. You can download their app on your phone where a map of the city shows you all the spots where the bikes are located. You can reserve a bike with this app and at the end of your rental period the map also shows you the places where you can drop off your bike again. Very easy and a great way exploring the city.
