the Arn table by Eberhart furniture
When we moved into our home we choose a round dining table and although we liked this shape after a while we spoke about replacing it for a larger table. The table is placed in our open kitchen and an important part of the the rest of the living room. This is where we start our day together and share stories during a cosy dinner with a good glass of wine.
We wanted a larger size to complement the space in a better way and also to have more space for friends coming over and our kids to play. So for us a table must be large enough to have our loved ones together. But in addition to the various functions, we also looked for a statement piece in a spacious living room.
And then we fell in love with the tables of Eberhart due to the use of materials and the sculptural shape of the frame. The Eberhart Furniture's basic ideology is founded on creating timeless furniture from nature’s best materials. Founded in 2014 by cousins Esben Christoffersen and Rune Vigil Nielsen, Eberhart's design and production philosophy focuses on the use of raw materials that are tamed and mixed in clean, simple lines. The company designs slowly, focusing on launching few but well-chosen and original furniture pieces representing fine minimalistic aesthetics.
The simplicity, the coarseness and the sculptural in the design as opposed to the authenticity and heritage of our farming culture. This DNA is becoming more and more clear as we launch more and more pieces and it helps us to differentiate ourselves from other good colleagues in the industry’ -Rune-
We choose for the ARN table in black/grey concrete. This table complements the company's more organic table series by leaving a sharp, clean and minimalistic impression. Arn is presented with tabletops in concrete and under frames in aluminum in 3 colors: white, light grey and black/grey.
The details and the more raw look of the table top gives it so much character as you can see in the images below. The combination of the materials and the shape of the under frame convinced us to add this table to our home as a real statement piece and when it arrived it turned out to even more beautiful then expected.
