Studio Henk has launched something new! It is aesthetical and sustainable: The Amoebe collection. A collection that consists of a coffee and dining table and is made from rest materials from woodworking.

Over the past year, Studio Henk has done a lot of research into sustainability and how they could make the collection even more sustainable. For example, they delved into FSC-certified wood, plastic-free packaging and reducing our overall CO2 emissions. And now they are launching their first sustainable collection: “By creating a small sustainable collection, we can investigate how we can improve the entire life cycle of our collection,” says creative director and designer Xander Albers.

The collection is made out of Living Board - a sustainable panel material that consists of wood chips and fibers from FSC-certified trees. The collection, like the rest of Studio HENK's furniture, is made to last for years. When the furniture eventually comes to the end of its life phase, the furniture can be broken down or recycled. The furniture is 100% recyclable and (almost) 100% biodegradable.

The new collection will be available from September, I am looking forward. - Aimee
