The relaxed, garment dyed denim has a gently aged finish and soft colour palette. Unlike traditional dyeing methods where fabric is coloured by the roll before it is cut and sewn, garment dyeing is a process that takes place after the item of clothing has been made.
The dye may accumulate in corners of the fabric and gradual fading occurs at the stitching points and edges of the denim. These variations are characteristic of garment dyeing, adding rich texture and a subtle patina to the finished jackets and jeans in shades of moss green or prune.
