Ikea Spring/Summer news 2021

In Januari we shared the first Ikea Spring news of the year (here) and with this new launch IKEA celebrates that Spring - and soon also Summer - is definitely on its way. I guess we are all looking forward to enjoy a liitle more light and warmth in our living rooms, in our gardens or perhaps on the beach..

The new range is inspired by the summer's activities and is made of more sustainable materials. The longing to be spontaneous and quickly be able to go out and be ready to enjoy those bright days. My favorite is the Borgeby table (made of light birch wood) has smart storage possibilities but I also like the beautiful Voxlov chair . The robust frame is made of durable bamboo, and hand-woven twisted paper string that creates a stylish and natural appearance.

At this collection we also see a favorite from the past - the stunning Trubbnate pendant lamp. This lamp first launched in 1978, is made of recycled plastic, but still in a flat package. The screen's shape, shadow play and dim, cozy lights and looks as stylish now as when it was launched years ago!

The new collection will be launched april 2021, just perfect for a little pre-Summer restyling moment for your home if you ask me! - Elvera
