Weekend inspiration - The home of Madeleine Asplund Klingstedt

A little while ago Swedish interior designer and stylist Madeleine Asplund Klingstedt announced on her blog that her home would be photographed and this week I finally had the chance to admire the inspiring photos of her apartment,  recently featured at Residence magazine.

I just love the harmonious and timeless atmosphere that Madeleine has created by the amazing mix of the elegant design classics,  the personal accessories, the beautiful custom made (kitchen-) sideboards and shelfs and the use of quiet and soft colours.  Perfect weekend inspiration don’t you think so?

Besides her work as stylist, Madeleine also runs the Lineair furniture label together with Erik Asplund. I got to know this brand, that manufactures handmade design furniture, when I visited Perspective Studio in Stockholm a few years ago. In Madeleine’s home you can see several products of their collection. The pedestal and the magazine stand/bookholder in walnut are definitely my favourites!
